A former entertainment calendar editor and features writer at the Marin Independent Journal, Kim Taylor combined her media experience and appreciation for arts and entertainment establishing herself as a respected publicist devoted to music, theater and performing arts.

As a freelance publicist she manages short and long term publicity campaigns for theatrical companies, entertainment events and musical artists with comprehensive press kits, press releases and story submissions while establishing media and internet relationships and long term goals. Creative services also include publicity photos, copy writing, layout and graphics, ticket promotions, community outreach and publicity events.

She has obtained media exposure for her clients in print and on radio and television in the San Francisco Bay Area; regional and metro newspapers; national magazines; local, national, and international internet sites; and on television programs across the U.S.

As a result of her concentration on attendance of San Francisco Bay Area theatrical critics, Taylor’s theater company clients have expanded their audience and received countless Bay Area Theatre Critics’ Circle nominations and several awards for best solo performance, best production, best direction and featured and ensemble performances.

In 2007, the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics' Circle honored Kim Taylor with the Barbara Bladen Porter Award, named for the former arts critic of the San Mateo Times and presented to an active mid-career member of the theater community.
